RULES 2009
ADMINISTRATION
1. DEFINITION
The Snaith & District Cricket League shall be an Evening Cricket League comprising of three divisions, with two knockout cup competitions, being the Snaith League Shield for those teams that participate in Division One and the Arthur Brant Trophy for those teams that participate in Divisions Two and Three.”
2. FEES
The Membership fee on joining the League shall be £10 and the annual fee shall be £26 for the midweek League and £5 for the Cup Competitions, payable in April. If there is insufficient money to cover the League expenses, the member Clubs shall pay equally sufficient money to cover those expenses.
3. MEETINGS
The League shall have an Annual General Meeting, to be held in April. All Clubs must be represented at that Meeting and may send 2 Representatives but shall only have one vote. Failure to attend that Meeting will incur a fine of £5. The Annual General Meeting shall elect a President, Vice President, Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer and 6 other Members to form a Management Committee, one of these shall be elected as Vice Chairman. The Committee may at its discretion co opt other members. The Management Committee shall be responsible for the efficient running of the League and shall meet as often as required. The Annual General Meeting shall be the only Meeting at which rules may be changed. Any proposed alterations shall be sent to the Secretary by February 1st and be circulated to all Clubs with notification of the Annual General Meeting. This notification shall be sent to all Clubs at least 14 days before that Meeting.
4. APPLICATIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP
Applications for Membership and notification of resignation from the League shall be in the hands of the Secretary by 1st February.
